Achroma is headed for Kickstarter
Players of table top card game Achroma will be pleased to hear that some exciting new releases, exclusive rewards, and a few surprises are coming soon from this fan favourite.
We really liked Achroma when we played it and so this is pretty exciting news.
Following a whirlwind 18 months that has seen four successful card game releases, a companion app, and the opening of the Achroma Store and Gaming Cafe, the Achroma team are looking to take things to the next level with their fantasy universe, with Achroma heading for Kickstarter on Tuesday 7th February.
The campaign’s target is to fund a new wave of beautifully illustrated Achroma cards for new and existing players, collectors, and fans. But it doesn’t stop there. Also lined up are exciting releases beyond the card game we’ve seen so far, including a unique tabletop roleplaying game that uses your Achroma card collection, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the Five Realms.
Founder Jack Constantine says “Over the past 18 months Achroma has grown from strength to strength, and this Kickstarter is the next exciting step in our journey here at Realm Runner Studios. Our fans and newcomers can enjoy brand new products, that span across the Achroma universe giving players exciting ways to play and interact with this unique world. Whether you are a fan of the art, want to collect and play the cards, play the mobile adventure game on the go or fully immerse yourself in a full TTRPG experience the options are endless with Achroma.”

Achroma is a beautifully illustrated fantasy card game for two or more players. During games of Achroma, you spend shards from your bank to deploy and attack with heroic Characters, equip them with Objects of Power, harness Locations and unleash cunning Actions.
This physical card game is accompanied by a free digital app to aid players at the gaming table, allowing them to add Achroma cards to their account, unlock rewards, and influence the future of the Achroma universe.
Realm Runner Studios, an independent, self-funded studio in Poole, Dorset, was founded in 2019 by a group of friends who wanted to bring something fresh and progressive to collectable card games. Their first product, Achroma: The Curse of Curdle Hill, was released in late 2021. Sitting somewhere between Pokémon and Magic The Gathering, Achroma has attracted a truly diverse player base, with tens of thousands of Achroma cards sold and over a thousand registered app users.
